For those who are writing a paper review. Published in Plos Biology.



This PDF is a bit heavy (ca. 15MB) and long (ca. 300 pages), but really worth reading. You can learn what should be carefully concerned for aiming at a very high quality journal.


The series of YouTube videos by Steve Kirk is one of my favorites. They are not so long but extremely useful.


If I could have known this book earlier... I recommend this book particularly for scientists at their very first stage, such as a master student who is wondering if he/she wants to take Ph.D., a Ph.D student who is losing his/her confidence, and a young postdoc who wants to confirm if he/she is going well or not.
